This weekend was once again in archery competitions, but in this case were not looking, but we competed well, hehe. It was the XV Trofeo Villa de Leganés, a competition organized by our club, so I had to participate! Also this year, at the request of some members of the Board of the Club, had proposed a new category: that of initiation. So instead to shoot at 50m and 30m as novices, the initiation (which do not carry even a year pulling) it could participate in the 30m and 18m distance, so when you have not even caught sight never to 30m is appreciated. In fact, from here take the opportunity to thank the great idea of \u200b\u200ballowing us to shoot at that distance to the initiation!
The truth is that despite the nerves and the fact that most archers went to the adventure completely (Felix and I threw our first arrows at 30m on Friday, lol), we had a great time. Well, we also suffer our own, but in general we had a great time. Yes, I the last batch of arrows at 18m and could not open the bow Fatigue ... (That is, skip the clicker, which took him a week ago, let alone! XD) but ... easy (and doing fewer points than usual) everything is accomplished. I think I've learned a lot from this experience.
For me, the best, has been the unbeatable atmosphere of fellowship with the rest of our fellow workshop in the firing line. And walk we did not have fun the three girls we participated in my class! And as often happens in sports such minority (minority in number of girls that is), if you're not careful, eventually finding just standing on a podium! ;)
And we do not can not complain, because in our category were 3 girls, than in other categories there was only one! lol. In any case, we had a great time. Since I'm going to take this opportunity to thank our Coach Paul. For their advice, their soothing words from the waiting line, and ultimately, for being there at our side, not just today but every day since we gave the introductory course:) And for their patience with novice archers, of course! It is a great coach and a great person.
