Young fascist Francoist symbols removed Castilla 216 (includes photos)

The first edition of the championship, "plate-plate" that we organized from Tindal has had the aim, firstly, to report the presence of a huge Franco symbols on the streets of Castilla that extols the dictatorial period.

The tournament began in late October 2009 and concluded in the month of February. Have involved groups of young anti-fascists who have withdrawn a total of 216 Francoist symbols in various municipalities of Spain like Madrid, Pozuelo, Fuenlabrada, Segovia, Toledo and Cuenca.

With this tournament we tried to encourage those critical of the presence of symbols to commemorate the Franco period in the streets to become involved in the removal of this symbol. Despite this, we think the removal of Francoist symbols should be independent of tournaments have been organized for it or not, so we encourage you to continue cleaning up our streets!
